Dance Nucleus is a space for practice-based research and creative development for independent dance in Singapore.
Dance Nucleus sees choreography as a vital practice in the production of cultural knowledge. We aim to foster a culture of discourse, self-education, exchange and support. We envisage a dance community in Singapore that values criticality and pluralism, while placing great emphasis on building partnerships locally, in South East Asia and internationally.
Daniel Kok works as the Artistic Director of Dance Nucleus, curating programmes as well as working directly with the artists-in-residence, associate members, international guest artists and partners for our different platforms.
Ezekiel Oliveira manages the team at Dance Nucleus. He is our main publicity and communications liaison.
Dapheny Chen is our operations manager, looking after our logistics, production support and studio at the Goodman Arts Centre.
Dance Nucleus is an initiative of the National Arts Council of Singapore.
